Guadalajara Dispensas Master Location Lists

I compiled a comprehensive list of the indexed films of the Guadalajara marriage dispensations to help track of which films have been indexed. The sources included are the following:

**Sagrada Mitra de Guadalajara by Maria de la Luz Montejano Hilton (book)

** http://www.guadalajaradispensas.com/ by Claudia Casillas

** http://guadalajaradispensas.tumblr.com/ by Katy Brecht

There are three files; I created lists by year, source, and FHL film number. The link to the reference folder is the following:

http://www.nuestrosranchos.org/node/21881

Within each file, I created hyperlinks for each indexed list of names and for each film link at familysearch.org. In the Word document, simply press "CTRL" and click on the link to go to the page.

I couldn't find the link for one particular film, and another film location at Familysearch includes an incorrect film.

Please let me know if there are any errors or questions, and I hope you find this helpful.

how to get or buy "Genealogía de Nochistlán antiguo reino de la Nueva Galicia"

"Genealogía de Nochistlán antiguo reino de la Nueva Galicia en el siglo XVII según sus archivos parroquiales" my Libary here in TEXAS has a copy but only to use in the Libary. a book like this needs to be looked at slowly carefully for research and have for a couple of days if any one knows how to buy or get a copy that would be great thanks

about records not available on familysearch

Is there anyway to view either a digital copy or at least an index with parents names for records in towns such as colotlan, jerez, tepetongo, huejucar, or tlaltnenango. For example, there's record gaps in jerez and tlaltnenago.

In jerez there's no baptism records between 1840-1866,1720 's (-ish)-1745,1785-1796,1801-1805,1816-1818 or 1829-1835, but yet you can find baptism records between mid 1600's-early 1700's, 1746-1749,1755-1758, 1761-1784,1797-1800, 1806-1815,1819-1828, 1836-1840, and 1867-1960. Another example would be how there's no marriage records from 1705-1712 in the tlaltenango matrimonios 1626-1723.

i'd also like to see more marriage records in tepetongo pre-1819(there's only a few select marriage records from 1770's in one of the tepetongo baptism record collection),pre-1720 colotlan marriage records, or pre-1765 baptisms and marriage records in huejucar.

Adn de Jalisco

Hello i would like to invite you all to test your grandparent male or father male or the oldest member of your family.

According to my dna i am 30 % native american and northen jalisco was 100% native america on 1700. So it would be good to have the dna for every family in the database to find dna connections of our tribes.

Its 100USD and its only saliva.

Jerez,Zacatecas

I Have been searching and searching for my grandmother,Enriqueta Medina Alva's birth record for a long time now, to no avail. She was born on April 24, 1880, Jerez, Zacatecas. Her father, Faustino Alva, died right before she was born. Her mother was Amada Avila (Alba)Medina.I read somewhere that some one had seen some Jerez records in another city's record. I believe it was in Apostol, Zacatecas.I have checked and checked and have been unable to find such records. Has any one heard of,or seen, such a thing? I could use any advise on this research.

Marquez v. Marquez de Los Olivos

I am curious about something. Is the Marquez surname a shortened version
of Marquez de los Olivos? My Marquez of which I have very very little
information tie into Sauz de Los Marquez as well and I wonder if they
are the same Marquez de los Olivos?

I have very very little on my Marquez that were living in Sauz de Los
Marquez. You can find the full report here under "Jose Maria Rivas"
http://www.nuestrosranchos.org/es/node/13828

but the info that is directly related is:

Descendants of Jose Maria Rivas

Generation No. 1

1. JOSE MARIA RIVAS was born Abt. 1739. He married MARIA SIMONA
MARQUEZ. She was born Abt. 1751.

Children of JOSE MARIA RIVAS and MARIA SIMONA MARQUEZ are:

3. ii. MARIA ANTONIA RIVAS MARQUEZ.

5. iv. HIPOLITA CACIANA RIVAS MARQUEZ, b. Abt. 1782.
