Angies Bedoy's

Prima,

where are all these new relatives from?

please do tell if you know who the parents are of the following:

Maria Antonia Urena

also what was the name of the Castaneda mom of Jose Antonio Quirino
Valdes Castaneda?

Also all those Bedoy's. . .have you ever seen Bedoy as an alternate
spelling for Godoy? Or am I confusing it with something else?

Are any of them from Colotlan or Santa Maria de Los Angeles?

Joseph

Grano, Covarrubias, Valdez, Jara

Rosalinda,

I saw your Antonio Ponce descendants file. I too am searching a
family you had listed. Jose Cayetano Grano and Efigenia de la Rosa
De La Covarrubias are my Great(x6)-Grandparents! I will include a
file of the information that I have on that couple soon, so we can
compare. I also have information on Maria Ynes Godina and Jose
Antonio Jara. I am distintantly related to Maria Ynes Godina and
that is why I have information on that family. I guess I know find
out that I am also related to Jose Antonio Jara. I also have
information on Maira Sixta Sanchez and Jose Rafael Jara. I am
distintantly related to Maria Sixta Sanchez, on my Sanchez Side.
Didn't relize that I was also connected on the Jara side.

It would be great if we could share information. Would it be
possible for me to get information on your sources for the ancestors
of Jose Cayetano Grano and Efigenia de la Rosa De La Covarrubias. I
think I am set on their descendants, but have no information

Nochistlan Procesos Matrimonial ???

I was looking up to see what films were available for Nochistlan, Zacatecas
and came across the following:

Procesos matrimoniales 1676-1762 -
VAULT INTL Film [ 226933 ]

Procesos matrimoniales 1763-1804 -  VAULT INTL Film [ 226934 ]

Now Matrimonios I know and Informacion Matrimonial I know, but Procesos Matrimoniales
I don't know.

So can someone in the know let me know what kind of info is found in these
records and how its different from the other two?

thanks,

joseph

Any Map Requests???

Is there anyone in the group that can't find their area in one of the
maps or map links given in the "files" or "links" section of the group?

If you can't find it let me know the name of the city and its
approximate location and I'll look for it at Duke.

Arturo Romero's 12 Ancestoral Files

I just uploaded Arturo Romero's 12 Ancestoral files to the "files" section.

This is great Arturo. I haven't had a chance to thoroughly look through
them but hope to get to them soon...thanks!

Now this should be a great example to everyone. . .common everyone send
in your files and we'll really be able to see if our Genealogies cross
somewhere in Jalisco or Zacatecas.

Last time I counted there were 29 members of the group and these are the
folks that have sent in their genealogies:

Angie Godina
Arturo Romero
Evie Villegas
Joseph Puentes
Maria Cortez
Rich&Kitty Cortez

Now I know that a couple of you sent in your work via email (PLEASE
resend me your genealogy directly to: makas@...) so I can then
take the information and put it into the "Files" section. Also in the
future I'd like to keep the genealogies strictly in the "Files" section
so if you must put them in an email send them directly to me and I'll
upload them to that area. Don't forget the "message" archives

Informacion Matrimonial

Yes the Informacion Matrimonial films can be wonderful sources of info.
Yes sometimes disappointing but more times wonderful. 3-5 pages of info
about the couple then the groom then the bride then usually three
Testigos, testaments from people who knew the couple saying they weren't
related. I saw a record from Huejucar that Kitty Cortez sent me that had
4 generations of genealogy inserted. Yes there might be some wonderful
surprises awaiting you in these records.
