I've been recently thinking about ordering certain microfilms from FamilySearch to view them at my local Family History Center. I am new to Family History Centers and therefore I do not know the process of viewing ordered films at a Family History Center. Could anyone explain to me the process of viewing ordered films at a local Family History Center? Do you use computers to view them?

I have a marriage record that I'm having a bit of trouble reading. It's the first complete record on the left-hand page on FHL Film 220404, image 466 (the complete link is at the end of this message).
This is the marriage of Juan de Torres Villabana and Fabiana Ximénes de Castro. My interpretation, beginning near the end of the second line of text (slashes indicate line breaks and elipsis in brackets indicates unknown words or phrases):

So today I have hit a brick with the ancestor of mine (Fabian Rodriguez Santana) he married 3 time, and in all of three of those marriages Fabians parents are not mentioned at all.I have looked through all the baptism available and found padrinos with the same surname as fabian (Rodriguez Santana)Juan Rodriguez Santana & Gertudis Rodriguez Santana.What can I do next any suggestions?

i've seen trees state that his parents were hernan gonzales and maria cid caldera. i can't seem to find their marriage record. is there any dispensation connecting him to maria cid caldera. the reason why I ask this is because this pedro cid caldera seem to start having kids in the 1640's. if he was the same pedro cid caldera mention in miguel caldera's will, he would've most likely been in his 60's(or possibly even older) when he got married for the first time with maria carrillo(assuming she was his first wife). normally if someone that old(if they were lucky enough to live that long) was getting married, it was their 2nd, 3rd time etc. getting married.
because of this, i woner if the pedro cid caldera who married maria carrillo might not be the the same pedro who was stated in miguel's will.
sorry for spamming this board with questions related to the cid caldera family. the research i've done on this family has left me with a quite a bit of questions since some parts are quite sketchy(like if miguel and maria are full or half siblings)

i get that pedro cid caldera and his wife had a daughter named josefa who married a jose roman, and their daughter teresa married an luis munoz, and the had a daughter named matiana. the part after is what's confusing. are pedro cid caldera and maria carrillo both francisca's parents, or is only one of them a biological parent of hers. if so, which one is?

My Cuellar line starts with Antonio de Cuellar and Josepha Macias in the late 17th century in Aguascalientes. Then my it moved to Santa Maria de los Lagos and ended in Encarnacion de Diaz at the end of the 18th century where they stayed until my line came to America (Texas) in 1903. I can send you the whole line if you think it might connect to yours.

Hello, I'm needing help to find Jose Ynes Rodriguez's birth and death record. I found his marriage document in Zacatecas, Mexico on 9 November 1888. He was a shoe maker in Zactecas, Zacatecas. His father is Juan Rodriguez and mother is Franscisca Santos who I am also looking for who were both deceased by 1888. Hello everyone , sorry i haven't been on here much anymore. We lost my grandmother to cancer In October and had lots of things going on and didnt do too much genealogical work. Anyhow, I finally downloaded a family tree program and put in 1129 relatives BUT, I've wanted to make it public for all my relatives to see. This particular website wants to charge me money to publish the tree?? Anyone want to recommend anywhere I can publish a family tree for free or even somewhere I can make a family site? An interesting fact about Juan Nepomuceno VASQUES-MERCADO Lopes-De Nava: When he and Ma. Gertrudis CALBILLO were married 15 Feb 1770 (Mex CCRec Ags Ags Sag Mat 1765-1767, Image 99), she was 15, he was 22, and he was already twice a widower.
His first wife, Maria Buenaventura RODRIGUES Contreras, and Juan were married 27 Apr 1767 (Mex CCRec Ags Ags Sag Mat 1765-1767, Image 99).
About three months after her death, Juan married his second wife, Maria Fabiana ESPARZA Alonso, while she was on her deathbed, 8 Apr 1769; she died two days after their marriage. (Mex CCRec Ags Ags Sag Mat 1767-1771, Image 96). About 8 months later he married Ma. Gertrudis CALBILLO.
If anyone learns more about Francisco Xavier CALBILLO I hope they pass it along to our group. I wonder if he might be part of the difficult and elusive MARTINES-CALBILLO family?

Are you stuck? Are you wondering where to start? Well one good place would be to ask your questions on the research@nuestrosranchos.org list. We might not be able to help but we'll try.
If you are just starting out in genealogy then you need to familiarize yourself with your local Family History Center. Your local FHC is part of the LDS church and is an absolute goldmine of information for Mexican Genealogy and other locations around the world. Go to www.familysearch.org to find your closest location with the best hours to fit your schedule: go to the site and click on "Library" and "Family History Centers" to find your location. Give them a call and pay them a visit. Ask questions about how the center works.
If you know your specific location then go to the familysearch.org site and do a "place search." go to the site and click on "Library" and then on "Family History LIbrary Catalog" and then click on "Place Search" [Note if your location doesn't come up in the results maybe it was too small to support a church in earlier times. In cases like that then go to one of the online maps - Expedia.com is one I use - and see if you can find your location. Then slowly start entering in the towns closest to your location in the "Place Search." Keep doing that until you find a location that gives you some results from the "Place Search."
Once you've found a location you should see something like this:

Caldera and Maria Cid? Also, do you know what books Phillip
Wayne Powell has published Miguel Caldera besides The Taming of
America's First Frontier (1548-1597).
I have an ancestress by the name of Maria-Anacleta "Cleta" Caldera from
Tepetongo, Zacatecas.
I have not been able to find information about her parents or where
they came from to San Jose de Arroyo Seco de Abajo in Tepetongo.

Hola Armando and Members ,Back in the 15 of march ,2012 I was inquiring about Jose Munoz de Nava married to Micaela Gomez de Mendoza. I don't remember if I answered you about Jose Munoz de Nava being the son of Francisco Munoz de Nava and Leonor Ramirez de Hermosillo. I found a dispensa film# 168374 -year 1743-1754 page # 88 for Antonio Munoz (son of Jose Munoz de Nava and Micaela Gomez de Mendoza) and Paula Gertrudis Garcia de Hermosillo. Its states that Leonor Ramirez de Hermosillo gave birth/procreated Joseph Munoz de Nava. So far this is the only proof I found.

Finally i found my grandfathers great grandparents, but like i said i am quite stuck here.So Sebastian Munoz Parents are Cipriano Munoz & Maria Munoz and i can no longer go further than that.What was is stopping me on going further is a marriage doc of a Cipriano Munoz and a Maria Asencion Munoz, it mentions that they are from el monte de los duranes but i thought they were from la jabonera?And is that Cipriano Munoz and that Maria Asencionn Munoz the same parents of my Sebastian Munoz.Can anyone give me some tips on what I can do please.How can i prove that my Cipriano Munoz and Maria Munoz the same ones on that marriage doc?

I was wondering whether anyone could help me in locating information on Juan de Medina and Maria Gaitan from Teocaltiche around 1675. I found a baptism record for a child of theirs in 1678 and 1691, both in Teocaltiche, but, I can't seem to find any marriage info or any other information on them. My Grandparents were Jesús María Padilla born in San Juan de los Lagos on September 12, 1913 and Josefina Campos born in Miami, Arizona on March 26, 1917.
My grandfather's parents were Eleuterio Padilla and Jovita Padilla
My grandmother's parents were Miguel Campos and Antonia Campos
And they were all born in or around San Juan de los Lagos. That is all I know.
