In the Aguascalientes archives there are 45 documents describing dowries (dote matrimonial). All but two are for the town of Aguascalientes, one is for Asientos, and one Lagos de Moreno.

While researching my Salazar family from the Tepatitlan area, I am starting to notice several of them living in a place called Los Garabatos.

Hello,
I recently came across a book that lists the Haciendas of Mexico and their owners circa 1883.
No Grandparents Included
For the most part, the baptism records from the early 1700's do not include the name of Grandparents. Does anyone know what's the best way to continue finding the family lineage?
