Jose Cresencio Bugarin

Recently someone asked a question regarding Cresencio Bugarin from Atolinga Zacatecas. I can’t find the comment anymore but here is what I found: Jose Cresencio Bugarin, born in the “rancho de Laguna”, born 19/April/1880 baptized on 26/April/1880 in Atolinga, Zacatecas. He is the son of Marcial Bugarin and Maria Huerta, paternal grandparents are Julian Bulgarian and Bacilia Hermosillo, maternal grandmother is Juana de Huerta . His civil record names him Cresencio, while the baptismal record on that same date names him José Cresencio Bugarin. Marcial also had children with Maria Weneslao Huerta. The two Marias are not the same person. Marcial Bugarin had children from at least three relationships. The proof that the two Marias are not the same person is that they each have different parents. Locating a Testamento in the Zacatecas Archives

There is a list of notarial documents from Zacatecas on this website that were translated by Jaime Holcombe. One referred to a "testamento" in Zacatecas for a Margarita Tinoco. Does anyone know how to obtain or view the actual document online instead of the summary of it? Thanks.

Saucedo, Udabe & Lopez de la Cerda of Teocaltiche, Jalisco

Hello everyone, My name is Cynthia Saucedo & I am a descendant of Juan Zacharias Saucedo Udabe.  I see there are posts on Nuestros Ranchos that are over 10 years old from other descendants of the Saucedo, Udabe, Lopez de la Cerda family line.  If anyone researching this family line is still active on this website I would like to collaborate.  It seems there is a brick wall with the grandparents of Juan Zacharias.  I am researching the Saucedo/Udabe/de la Cerda line from Teocaltiche, Jalisco.  Christoval Saucedo married Feliciana Udabe López de la Cerda around 1711.  There is no marriage record for them.  I have not been able to find any sources with the names of Christoval Saucedo’s parents nor have I been able to find any siblings of Christoval Saucedo. The parents of Feliciana, his wife, are Isidro Udabe & Rosa Manuela Lopez de la Cerda.  There is no marriage record for them however, their children are listed as legitimate children in each of their marriage records.  I have not been able to find death/burial records for Isidro Udabe or Rosa Manuela Lopez de la Cerda.

Help finding lost dispensa

There is a dispensa that I misplaced notes or more likely didn't take notes on it. It lists two brothers: one Bernardino de Isla and the other Bernardino de Sandoval. From what i recall, the visual writing makes it liking between 1700 and 1750, and the relationship was in the narrative form within a paragraph (not separate from paragraph and listed line by line) and likely on the first page. The location was likely either Nochistlan, Teocaltiche, Tepatitlan, or Jalostotitlan.

I have tried searching the dispensas again, but have not found it, which makes me think it might be from a marriage information or from some other location.

New to the site

Greetings,

I am new to the site and recently began researching my grandparents (Pedo Araiza and Elena Rodriguez), both who passed before I was born.  Both migrated to the U.S. and ran a restaurant called the Texcoco Inn (Houston, TX). Found a couple of articles about them from the Sig Byrd archives (writer in Houston) but not much else of their families in Mexico.

Ansurez/Onsures/Unsures

Hello Everyone,

I was hoping to find out if anyone has any variation of the aforementioned names in their family history. I have had a challenging time finding information on my mother’s side of the family beyond GG grandfather Ladislao Ansures and a GGG grandfather Ciriaco Ansures. I believe there may be a connection to a sibling Simon, and i think they ultimately resided in Chihuahua. I find the names fascinating, though! Thank you for any information or suggestions!

Jose Rafael Orozco's wives

Has anyone found the marriage of Jose Rafael Orozco/Orosco and Maria Guadalupe Vargas/Bargas?  Most likely in San Miguel el Alto, 1810-1817.

Is the Rafael Orosco that married Maria Ignacia Martin in 1824 the same Rafael Orosco that married Maria Guadalupe Bargas?  Ma Guadalupe died in 1822.  Her son, Jose Bitor Orosco Bargas has paternal grandparents listed in his baptismal record as:

Jose Alejo( Bargas) y Orozco and Maria de San Juan Hernandez

The Rafael Orozco/Maria Ignacia Martin line seems to be well researched, but I have not come across mention of a Ignacia being a second wife.

Any confirmation that I am coming to the correct conclusion that these is the same Rafael Orozco would appreciated.
