Description

These forum posts are from the old “Ranchos Archives” which was part of a Yahoo Groups system that operated between 2003-2006. This was a hybrid of electronic mailing lists and internet message boards. The files are “Read Only” and many of the users of the Yahoo Groups are not part of the new NuestrosRanchos membership, so keep this in mind when viewing these message posts and replies.

Census Info

I have uploaded the census information, for
Aguascalientes, Jalisco, and Zacatecas. Into the Files section, of Ranchos,

SLC Record Look-up/Thanks Jonathan

Jonathan,

thanks so much for making this generous offer. I just had Kitty Cortez
help me so wonderfully in her recent trip to SLC of which I am so grateful.

I kinda did have one small look up if you wouldn't mind, but put it on
the back burner if the list starts to overwhelm you with requests:

ANTONIO AVILA/DOMINGA BARRIOS parents of JM husband of felipa de
Aniceto Puentes who are possibly 4th cousins somehow:

There are 2 ways, to find the site.

#1 goto my website: http://members.pcu.net/Hispanic_Genealogy/,
in the links section under Mexico, look for INEGI - Mexcio Census.

#2 goto directly the INEGI site: http://www.inegi.gob.mx/inegi/default.asp.

Once there, go  to the "Accesos directos"
area,  and click on "
XII Censo General de Población y Vivienda,
2000
", under the "Base de
datos" area, click on "
Tabulados básicos
",  then under the "Poblacion" area, choose
" Localidades por municipio, y su
distribución según tamaño de localidad
 ".  I am
giving these details, so you know where, to go.  But you still can explore
the other options, on the site.  Here is the direct url: http://www.inegi.gob.mx/est/librerias/tabulados.asp?tabulado=tab_po01b&c=705.

where did you find this information? It looks great as far as finding
the names of all the Ranchos that are in existence. Can you share the
URL with the group?

thanks,

After, a question from Joseph, I wanted to
clarify, my earlier post.

If you just want a copy, of the
record e-mailed, to you.  There will be no charge, for the
lookup.  But if you want a paper copy or a disc, sent to you.  My
usual fee of $15.00 per record, applies.

So, once again, I'll be in Salt Lake
