New poll for ranchos
I think it should be the same or less strict. This site can be inspiring for others to begin their research, particularly if a connection was found.
These forum posts are from the old “Ranchos Archives” which was part of a Yahoo Groups system that operated between 2003-2006. This was a hybrid of electronic mailing lists and internet message boards. The files are “Read Only” and many of the users of the Yahoo Groups are not part of the new NuestrosRanchos membership, so keep this in mind when viewing these message posts and replies.

Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the ranchos group: You can only vote if you have already submitted your genealogy, but even if you haven't you can still influence by giving your opinion via an email to the group (freedom of speech). Question: Should the requirements for being a member of Ranchos be More Strict (have your genealogy in hand to submit before being accepted into the group); the same as now; or less Strict? I will not change anything unless 75% of the permanent members vote and if I get 60% of those voting to vote for one of the choices. o More Strict o The Same o Less Strict o Other To vote, please visit the following web page: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ranchos/surveys?id=1585766 Note: Please do not reply to this message. Poll votes are not collected via email. To vote, you must go to the Yahoo! Groups web site listed above. Thanks!

If any out there, like myself or Alicia Wissing, has Family Tree Maker and you want to send information via email, then take notes.
To begin, you first need to be in your Family Tree Maker program. Let's say you want to create a pedigree chart for a specific individual. Simply go to the person's main page. Then click the "Ancestor Tree" icon button on the upper task bar. Once the pedigree chart is displayed exactly as you want it, and between 3 to 5 generations, click the "Edit" button in the upper task bar, then "Copy," then "Copy Ancestor Tree." By doing this you have saved the tree.
Then go to MS Word, and open a new document with reduced margins. I usually put a .5 margin framing the entire document. Then right click your mouse and click on "Paste" from the small template that appears. The Pedigree Chart you copied appears inside your MS Word Document. Simply drag the lower right hand corner and stretch it to the full size of your page.

Hi Alice,
I was looking for your genealogy in the files section, but couldn't
find it. You said you have Martin del Campo ancestry and I wanted to
see if we have a link. I have several Martin del Campo lines in my
family tree.

My Saldivars also supposedly are connected by
marriage to Moctezuma, too! Small world, huh? Anyway, it's only myth so far. Marge:)

Hi, on my Villarreal side, one of my distant cousins supposedly can trace our family to Spain's royal family. This has been known in my family for generations. When I first found out about it, I asked my aunt why she had not shared it with the next generation. She

For whatever reasons, people laugh hysterically when they hear Moctezuma's name. And former President Lopez-Portillo was a Martin del Campo, as well, and that elicits more laughter. Sadly, my grandparents came to Carpinteria, CA to pick lemons and green beans, making all these discoveries seem unreal to people. > > Alicia > > marge vallazza wrote: > Dear Joseph, > Attached is my family history from my grandmother, Altagracia Gonzalez. Dear Joseph,Attached is my family history from my grandmother, Altagracia Gonzalez. Please look it over and ensure that it starts with her. I'm sorry it's a zip file and I think a Gedcom. I converted it from PAF.5Anyway, my ignorance of computer programming is what has delayed my submitting this to you. My Saldivar line married into the Morillo line that was entered by a Villavicencio bride. This Villavicencio (Juliana del
