I'm OK with opening up the group to include: Nayarit, sinaloa, Michoacan
and guanajuato. My ancestors were from Jalisco, Guanajuato, Michoacan,
Aguacalientes.
Names of Ranches in Los Altos
Some of the names of the ranches in Jalisco are rather interesting. My grandfather was identified as being from La Jabonera, San Juan de los Lagos when he married.

My ggggggg grandfather is "Antonio Madera" of Minillas, Mezquitic, Jalisco, Mexico. He was born aproximately around 1660 (from what I was told from other nuestros ranchos members).
