Hello everyone,I am currently looking for Maria Feliciana Duran's marriage record.I went through all available marriage records from her time period for Nochistlan, Jalpa, Juchilipa and Apozol.

I am always hoping (and praying) for a connection to someone researching the family tree. As yet, it seems I always have to go back a few generations to possibly make these connections.

I was able to find new information on my ancestor José Nolasco Fernández de Villalpando and may appear to be related to the same Villalpando family of Aguascalientes and Guanajuato.

While researching my Salazar family from the Tepatitlan area, I am starting to notice several of them living in a place called Los Garabatos.

I'm transcribing my 6th great grandparents' marriage record. Franco. de Salazar and Maria Leonor Rodriguez were married in Tepatitlan, Jalisco on October 2, 1730. This is the link.

I would appreciate anyone who could tell me the names of the paternal grandparents on the baptism record for Jose Braulio Romulo Luna (last entry on the left-hand page).

Does anyone know if the abbreviations Antto and Antta mean Antonio y Antonia, respectively?

I recently came across a book that lists the Haciendas of Mexico and their owners circa 1883.

For the most part, the baptism records from the early 1700's do not include the name of Grandparents. Does anyone know what's the best way to continue finding the family lineage?

Does anyone know if there is a repository for old newspapers in Mexico. I know here in the US you can go to your local libraries to find microfilmed copies of old newspaper articles.
